Newport Norse is a successful collaboration between Norse Group and Newport City Council, dedicated to delivering exceptional cleaning services throughout the region.

We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner for Milton Primary in Newport. Your primary responsibility will be to maintain a clean, secure, and well-kept environment, executing various cleaning tasks as needed.

  • Uphold high cleanliness standards.
  • Report any maintenance issues to the Area Supervisor.
  • Adhere to all health and safety protocols.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service.

This role is offered on a part-time, permanent basis, requiring 15 hours of work per week (15:00 - 18:00, Monday to Friday).

We provide comprehensive training for those new to the industry, but we prefer candidates who possess:

  • Prior experience in a cleaning or janitorial role.
  • Familiarity with relevant health & safety regulations, including the use of appropriate machinery and cleaning products.
  • The ability to work independently and manage your own tasks.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with the public and clients.
