KCLSU is seeking a Creative Arts and Media Engagement Coordinator to enhance the university experience for students at King's College London.

This role encompasses various responsibilities, including collaboration with KCLSU Student Media and Arts organizations, as well as fostering the growth of student-led initiatives in broadcasting, digital and print journalism, and creative arts.


Key Responsibilities:
Student Media & Arts Group Development


Provide guidance and support to student media and arts organizations, facilitating their formation, growth, and success through a structured development and accreditation process.

Assist student media and arts groups in participating in national competitions and events.

Implement an effective engagement strategy with student media and arts organizations, utilizing diverse communication methods and efficient management of daily inquiries.

Assess the short and long-term resource requirements for student media and arts groups, collaborating with relevant KCLSU and KCL departments and external facilities to ensure access to quality resources for their activities.

Oversee the specialized equipment and technology utilized by student media and arts groups, ensuring proper inventory management, maintenance, renewal, and storage.

Ensure adequate technical support is available for student groups to guarantee the safe and efficient operation of KCLSU Student Media Suite facilities.

Foster the financial sustainability of student media and arts groups through membership fees, sponsorship opportunities, and coordination of grant funding allocations.

Projects & Events

Manage the Arts Festival to promote artistic engagement within the wider student community.
Oversee the Student Media Awards Night to honor and celebrate the achievements of student media groups.
Collaborate with student media and arts organizations to create events and activities throughout the year that engage the broader student body, such as on-campus art exhibitions and film festivals.
Lead the execution of performances and exhibitions during Community Events and KCLSU Awards.

Work alongside the Community Development Team to cultivate strong partnerships with student media and to develop student-led content for various projects.
