Job OverviewPosition Summary
The ideal candidate will be tasked with the reception and accommodation of cattle and sheep, adhering to the highest standards of animal welfare practices.
Key Responsibilities
Role Duties
  • Safely unloading and relocating animals to designated holding areas prior to processing;
  • Recording ear tag information and assigning identification numbers;
  • Verifying transport documentation and conducting necessary audits;
  • Ensuring accurate entry of permits and related data into the system;
  • Assisting with the routine sanitation of the lairage facilities;
  • Upholding Health, Safety, and Hygiene Standards in line with company policies.

Candidate Requirements
Qualifications
  • GCSE qualifications in Maths and English (or equivalent);
  • Essential prior experience in handling cattle and sheep;
  • Understanding of animal welfare regulations;
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team;
  • Proficient IT skills are required.

Compensation: £11.44 per hour
