Main Responsibilities:

  • Performance Reporting: Maintain accurate and timely performance reports to provide business partnering support to operational colleagues.
  • Tender Support: Assist the business unit in generating tenders for all opportunities, ensuring compliance with procurement and pricing strategies.
  • Commercial Contract Management: Develop and maintain strong knowledge of customer contracts, including the commercial contract log.
  • Commercial Advice: Provide expert advice on commercial issues to general and framework managers.
  • Financial Reporting: Report on work in progress, billing, and payment collection, ensuring accurate financial data.
  • Pricing and Tendering: Utilize methods to support all pricing and tendering activities, ensuring optimal commercial outcomes.
  • Management Information System (MIS) Support: Use the MIS to track work progress and report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Expenditure Management: Maintain visibility of expenditure to ensure works are completed within budget.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with the Senior Management Team and attend management reviews as required, ensuring effective communication and stakeholder management.
  • Continuous Improvement: Continuously improve the reporting available to management, ensuring data-driven decision-making.

Requirements:

  • Strong Financial Acumen: Possess strong financial skills and knowledge, with the ability to analyze and interpret financial data.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with various stakeholders.
  • Valid UK Driving Licence: Hold a valid UK driving licence, with the ability to travel as required.
