Data Centre Shift Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Data Centre Shift Engineer to fill a key role in our team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will play a crucial part in maintaining the electrical and mechanical systems of our data centre facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine electrical installations, fault-finding, and lamp replacements.
  • Conduct regular emergency lighting tests.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot control panels.
  • Replace ballast in lighting systems.
  • Monitor Building Management Systems (BMS), including hot and cold readings.
  • Perform M&E (Mechanical & Electrical) tasks.
  • Keep detailed records and maintain log books.
  • Address basic plumbing issues.
  • Service pumps and motors.
  • Maintain Air Handling Units (AHUs) and Fan Coil Units (FCUs).
  • Perform water treatment tasks, including monitoring tap temperatures, flushing systems, and logging data.
Requirements:
  • City & Guilds Level 3 Electrical certification.
  • Ability to provide copies of relevant trade certificates.
  • Proven track record in commercial building maintenance.
  • Multi-skilled across various aspects of M&E maintenance.
  • Data Centre / critical infrastructure experience.
