Electrical Maintenance Engineer - Shifts

Location: West Quay Shopping Centre, Southampton.

Core Hours: Shift Rota (Early, late & weekend)

  • Undertake PPM activity in a quality, professional manner.
  • Proactively assist the management team to produce quotations by providing accurate and good quality information where extra works are identified.
  • Undertake reactive maintenance works as directed by the Help Desk and/or management team.
  • Escalate any major site issues or incidents to your line manager as soon as possible.
  • Manage Integral sub-contractors whilst working on site.
  • Understand and be aware of the requirements of all relevant Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality legislation and be equally aware of your own roles and responsibilities within the Company.
  • Actively participate in the health and safety processes required under the Company policies and procedures on portfolio, including accident investigation, reporting, risk assessments and auditing.
  • Perform any other reasonable instruction from the Contract Manager or his Line Managers.
  • Co-operate with the company to allow it to fulfil its moral and legal duties and obligations.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in a Commercial environment.
  • LV Authorised Person (A Bonus)
  • Electrical Engineering apprenticeship or similar
  • C&G Pts. 18th Edition IEE: Wiring and Installation (Ability to attain 18th Edition through additional training if you have 17th Edition)
  • C&G 2391 test and inspection; BS 7671:2001 for inspection, testing and certification.
  • Good IT and report writing skills.
