The London Market Claims team at Hiscox is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join their team as an Academic Quality Assurance Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic and diverse environment, driving quality assurance and process improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain quality assurance policies and procedures for the claims department, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
- Conduct regular claims quality assurance audits, analyzing data and reports to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Produce regular reporting to claims management, highlighting areas of improvement and facilitating remediation efforts.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements, reducing errors and improving claims processing efficiency.
- Provide training and support to claims staff on quality assurance practices, ensuring a high level of understanding and compliance.
- Maintain a deep understanding of relevant policies, processes, and systems utilized by the LM Claims function, staying up-to-date with industry developments and regulatory changes.
- Liaise with external auditors and other departments to ensure quality standards are met and maintained.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the Claims function, driving excellence and delivering a superior service to policyholders.
Requirements:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop practical solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- Good mathematical skills and report writing capability, with the ability to produce clear and concise reports.
