Attendance and Pastoral Support Officer Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Attendance and Pastoral Support Officer to join our Inclusion and Pastoral Team. As the point of contact for students in Years 7-13, you will play a vital role in promoting and supporting improved attendance and addressing students' personal, social, and educational needs.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting students and their families to improve attendance and engagement
  • Developing and implementing attendance strategies to meet school targets
  • Collaborating with teachers and other support staff to provide a holistic approach to student support
  • Managing day-to-day attendance systems and processes

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Relevant qualifications and training
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
