About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Housekeeper to join our team at Beaumont Care Homes. As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in our care homes, ensuring that our residents feel safe and comfortable in their living environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain the cleanliness and organization of all areas of the care home, including bedrooms, communal areas, and laundry facilities.
  • Ensure that all cleaning duties are carried out in accordance with our housekeeping guidelines and procedures.
  • Oversee the duties of the domestic and laundry staff team, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Work collaboratively with the domestic and laundry staff team to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Assist with the training and development of domestic and laundry staff, under the supervision of the Home Manager.
  • Organize and manage the supply of cleaning materials and equipment, ensuring that budgets are managed effectively.
  • Ensure that all infection control and COSHH procedures are adhered to at all times.

Requirements:

  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and residents.
  • Ability to work under own initiative, with a high level of autonomy and flexibility.
  • Polite and courteous demeanor, with a strong sense of teamwork and collaboration.
  • Adaptability and flexibility to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.
