Band 4 Return to Practice Paramedic Assistant

About the Role

We are seeking a Paramedic to join our team as a Return to Practice Paramedic Assistant. This is an exciting opportunity for a Paramedic to return to practice and update their skills and knowledge in a supportive and valued team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Apply clinical reasoning, analysis, assessment, and re-assessment skills and patient-centered goal setting approach by providing therapeutic treatment programs under the supervision of a Registered Paramedic.
  • Be responsible for a clinical caseload working to agreed therapeutic treatment objectives and assist Registered Paramedic in carrying out individual treatment plans.
  • Provide therapeutic interventions as part of a multi-professional team within an agreed scope of practice by a Registered Paramedic.
  • Deliver, plan, and implement an effective and competent therapy program under the direction and supervision of a Registered Paramedic.

Person Specification

  • Recognized degree as Paramedic with HCPC registration.
  • Previous experience as a Clinical Paramedic, working with physical difficulties, parents, and carers, and within a health environment.
  • Ability to work independently under guidance and supervision.
