About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Anaesthesia Consultant to join our team at London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust. As a Consultant Anaesthetist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality anaesthetic care to patients undergoing surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide anaesthetic care to patients undergoing surgical procedures
  • Conduct preoperative assessments and develop anaesthetic plans
  • Participate in the management of critically ill patients
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical guidelines and policies
  • Supervise and mentor junior medical staff
Requirements
  • Completion of specialist training programme in anaesthesia or equivalent (CCT/CESR)
  • FRCA or equivalent
  • Special Interest Area (SIA) or equivalent Fellowship or equivalent proven capabilities in relevant area of expertise
  • Leadership skills and ability to motivate and develop the multi-disciplinary team
  • Understanding of clinical governance and its implications
