Job Description

Job Title: Factory Maintenance Specialist

Job Summary:

Owen Daniels is seeking a highly skilled Factory Maintenance Specialist to join our team. As a Factory Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining the general cleanliness and appearance of all areas inside and outside of our premises.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment: Sweep and clean warehouse/production/mezzanine floors in all units, keep all gangways and fire exits clean and clear from obstructions, and clean and tidy the areas of the factory & maintain the car park and outside area.
  • Waste Management: Ensure that all external waste and debris is collected up and disposed of appropriately, empty the waste bins in all warehouse/production areas & monitor recycling sacks/bins, and collect scrap cardboard/plastic from warehouse/production areas for recycling.
  • Task Management: Undertake allocated BMR via Jira system and communicate outcome, and ensure accurate recording of tasks in line with cleaning schedule matrix.
  • Health and Safety: Daily monitoring of refreshments in main canteen, completion of mandatory Amazon Learn courses, and adherence to health and safety requirements & compliance and ISO standards.

Requirements:

  • Previous Experience: Previous experience of a factory-based environment.
  • Health and Safety Knowledge: Basic knowledge of Health & Safety procedures.
  • Independence: Ability to work with limited direct supervision.
