Working Hours:
Full-time position, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, including a one-hour lunch break.
Compensation:
Competitive salary ranging from £22,500 to £25,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a portfolio of insurance claims within a diverse client base.
- Oversee the entire claims process from initiation to resolution.
- Respond to inquiries from clients, customers, and service providers.
- Play a crucial role in enhancing the customer experience throughout their claims journey.
- Communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders through various channels, including email and phone.
- As a senior team member, demonstrate self-motivation and the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently while working independently.
- Assume leadership responsibilities, which may include overseeing a team of surveyors or coordinating the claims process and selecting appropriate service providers to ensure optimal outcomes for clients while managing costs.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in customer service, particularly in handling and resolving complaints.
- Background in the insurance sector, specifically in household insurance.
- Relevant qualifications in buildings insurance or technical modules, or equivalent on-the-job training.
- Proficient in using various IT systems and applications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational abilities.
