Position Overview:
Join The Sterling Choice as a Lead Compliance and Quality Assurance Specialist in the Food Manufacturing sector. This role is ideal for individuals who are committed to upholding food safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:
In this essential position, you will report to the Technical Compliance & Customer Manager, working collaboratively across departments to strengthen and uphold our Quality Management System (QMS). Your contributions will be vital in New Product Development (NPD), Existing Product Development (EPD), and overseeing Customer Specification Systems for both product packaging and raw materials.

Quality Assurance & Compliance:
- Facilitate external audits by ensuring comprehensive traceability from suppliers to end customers.
- Assist in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) hygiene and internal audits.

Collaboration & Coordination:
- Partner with Food Technologists, Specification Technologists, and other teams to manage risk assessments, specifications for raw materials, and supplier compliance.

Database Management:
- Maintain the raw material supplier database and ensure customer portals are accurate and current with relevant information.
- Develop and uphold product specifications, evaluate ingredient suitability and compliance, and manage associated systems and databases.

Crisis Management:
- Engage in internal audits and assist in coordinating responses during food safety alerts.

Qualifications:
- A proactive, detail-oriented professional with a robust background in the food industry.
- Experience with quality management systems and supplier compliance.
- In-depth knowledge of food safety standards and regulations.
