We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Ward Manager to join our team at Priory Hospital Cheadle Royal. As a senior nurse, you will play a key role in providing leadership and guidance to the ward nursing team, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Ward Manager in providing day-to-day management and supervision of the ward
  • Implement best practice across the ward, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
  • Support changes within the service, ensuring a smooth transition and minimal disruption to patient care
  • Responsible for the clinical direction of the service, ensuring that care and treatment meet the standards set by regulators
  • Support the delivery of personalised care, contributing to service improvement and innovation
About You
  • Active Registration with the NMC, meeting the requirements of Revalidation
  • Clinical Supervision experience essential, training desirable
  • Evidence of Continued Professional Development and intent to maintain and develop Continued professional development and leadership
  • Highly developed communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams
  • Good computer skills, with experience of using electronic patient records and other clinical systems
  • Experience in Mental Health or Learning Disability services, with a minimum of 3 years post-registration experience
