About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Sales Manager to join our team at WR Engineering. As a Technical Sales Manager, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with existing and prospective clients in the engineering and manufacturing industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Selling high-value orders to OEMs and manufacturers in the automotive, materials handling, machine builders, and industrial engineering sectors.
  • Identifying new business opportunities and conducting 3x customer visits per day.
  • Working closely with your sales manager to develop sales strategies and expand your territory.
  • Solutions selling non-standard products and selling a comprehensive range of off-the-shelf products.
  • Providing technical support and product training to clients.

Requirements:

  • Essential Qualification: HNC/HND or degree in a mechanical engineering subject.
  • Sales experience: field sales experience preferred, but we are open to highly motivated individuals looking for a break into technical field sales.
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a strong ability to generate new business.
  • Beneficial knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, springs, linear motion, bearings, couplings, engineered metal or rubber components.
  • Full UK driving license.

What We Offer:

  • To £40,000 salary, with OTE £50,000-£55,000.
  • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays.
