SKE Engineering Ltd., a leading provider of smart solar products, is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Technical Sales Manager to join our team in the UK. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and developing strong relationships with customers in the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a sales strategy to achieve revenue targets and expand our customer base in the UK.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders in the region.
- Perform sales presentations, demonstrations, and product training to customers and prospects.
- Travel extensively throughout the UK to develop and maintain relationships with key customer contacts, present, articulate, and clarify value and differentiation.
- Partner with field reseller partners and/or service partners to develop sales opportunities and support sales and implementation activities.
- Support the training of channel partners and PV installers.
- Develop a strong technical baseline through training and development milestones.
- Accurately forecast revenue for the territory and accounts, maintain contact information, business history, and opportunity details in salesforce.
Requirements:
- 5-7 years of outside sales experience required.
- Experience within the Solar PV industry or electrical supply chain is an advantage.
- Excellent grammar and writing skills in English, and the ability to map out strong business plans for others to easily interpret and follow.
