About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Merchandiser to join our Merchandise team at Footasylum. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in driving commercial opportunities across our stores, websites, and ultimately contributing to the business's success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide weekly summaries of key performance indicators for departments of responsibility and the wider business, focusing on sales, stock, profit, and budget performance.
  • Develop and implement weekly trading actions to optimize department sales and margin.
  • Act as the primary contact for analysis related to departments of responsibility.
  • Maintain accurate weekly stock sales and intake forecasts, identifying opportunities to drive sales and minimize risks.
  • Collaborate with the team to control branch inventory levels, allocations, and replenishment.
  • Serve as the key contact for Stores on inventory availability queries.
  • Provide analysis and summaries of markdown and promotional activity for departments of responsibility and the wider business.
  • Ensure markdowns are accurately recorded on the system in line with the markdown calendar.
  • Interact with internal teams to improve performance and drive best practices.
About the Team

The Merchandise team is a close-knit family, split into departments focusing on Apparel, Footwear, Accessories, DTC, Wholesale, and SEVENSTORE. You will have the opportunity to work across branded suppliers and own-brand supply chains, making decisions that impact sell-through, strategic plans, and profitability.
