This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned professional to leverage their expertise in capital improvement projects and contribute to the company's strategic growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide engineering guidance and support throughout the capital program lifecycle, from conception to commissioning.
- Develop design deliverables for capital project design basis, HAZOP, LOPA, and datasheets.
- Collaborate with operations teams to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the production plant.
- Identify and prioritize improvement projects aligned with the company's SQLCST strategy.
- Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of safety protocols, equipment, and industry standards.
- Work closely with operators and the operations day team to commission and implement projects.
- Provide mentorship and coaching to junior team members while reviewing and approving their work output.
Requirements:
- Chartered engineer with a degree in a relevant field.
- Minimum 6 years of process engineering experience, preferably in batch and continuous improvements.
- Proven expertise in process design, calculations, specifications, and commissioning.
- Experience working in Upper Tier COMAH sites is highly desirable.
