Position Title: Project Manager (Strategic Improvement)
Employment Type: Fixed-Term Contract
Weekly Hours: 35 hours
Salary Range: £46,000 - £50,000 per annum
Role Objective: The primary aim of this position is to facilitate and enhance strategic advancements within the Highland Council. The incumbent will focus on effectively achieving business objectives in alignment with our strategic goals. As a member of the Strategic Improvement Team, the Project Manager will collaborate with various business units and contribute to the broader Transformation Programme, leading the design, development, and implementation of solutions that transform business processes and functions.
This role is pivotal in the Council's initiative to digitally evolve service delivery. The Project Manager will be responsible for coordinating resources across the ICT Team, managing a diverse array of projects and work packages, and engaging with a wide range of stakeholders, both internal and external, to ensure successful business outcomes.

Candidate Requirements:
Applicants should possess:
- A minimum of five years' experience in project and programme management, with a substantial focus on digital transformation or ICT-related sectors.
- A degree in a numerate, business, digital, or technology-related discipline; or relevant industry qualifications; or extensive proven experience demonstrating a comparable level of knowledge and understanding.
