British American Tobacco UK is seeking a highly skilled Product Regulatory Compliance Manager to join our team in Southampton. As a key member of our Regulatory Compliance team, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products comply with all relevant regulations and laws.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and deliver assessments, reporting, and Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for our product portfolio.
- Implement the principles of 'Best Practice' and ensure partners adhere to compliance processes.
- Train individuals on Product Regulatory Compliance processes, SOPs, and WIDs.
- Ensure confidentiality of supplier information is maintained.
- Work effectively in a dynamic and challenging environment, balancing competing priorities and providing leadership in a key area of the business.
- Degree in a relevant science or legal discipline and/or demonstrable experience and positive track record.
- Excellent written and verbal reasoning skills.
- Computer competency in Microsoft office software, data collection, and general analysis tools; Microsoft Excel proficiency particularly preferred.
- Maintains awareness of the current and emerging tobacco regulatory environment.
- Ability to manage upwards effectively and assertively, as well as within the peer group, to acquire the necessary information and help drive and advise the decision-making process.
- Ability to work independently, but also able to engage and influence within a complex matrix structure where no reporting lines exist.
- Able to deal proactively and confidently when faced with a high level of ambiguity and tight time constraints.
