Key Responsibilities
As a Support Worker, you will engage with adults facing various challenges, including learning disabilities, dementia, mental health issues, and other physical conditions, on a person-centered basis. Your role will involve ensuring that residents are actively involved in their care decisions and encouraging skill development through diverse activities.
In this position, you will work during the night, delivering exceptional care to residents. Your responsibilities will encompass administering medications, assisting with personal care, conducting safety checks, and performing household tasks. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety, comfort, and happiness of residents.
This rewarding position requires energy, compassion, and a genuine desire to assist others. You will collaborate with a supportive team of professionals committed to making a difference in the lives of those they serve. Qualifications
Candidates must possess prior experience in mental health support. Specific qualifications are not mandatory for this role, as you will receive comprehensive on-the-job training and the option to pursue professional qualifications as needed.
