Gattaca is seeking a dedicated and skilled Business Continuity Specialist & Resilience Consultant. This position provides a unique opportunity to enhance the security and resilience of vital business functions within a highly regulated sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Expert Consultation: Deliver expert advice and support to promote enterprise resilience and business continuity, ensuring alignment with governmental requirements and industry standards.
  • Incident Management: Assist in the incident management process for operations outside of the Nuclear Licensed Site, maintaining business priorities during incidents.
  • Plan Formulation: Work collaboratively with stakeholders to create and sustain business continuity plans, business impact assessments, disaster recovery strategies, and related documentation.
  • Risk Assessment: Provide guidance to teams regarding risks associated with information, facilities, reputation, and other essential business assets.
  • Resilience Drills: Participate in the design and execution of resilience drills, improving the organization’s readiness and response capabilities.
  • Ongoing Development: Aid in implementing lessons learned from drills to enhance resilience planning and ensure continuous improvement.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

  • Professional Credentials: Possess a relevant qualification in Resilience, Business Continuity, Risk Management, or a related discipline, or have equivalent experience.
  • Program Development: Demonstrated experience in establishing Business Continuity programs in accordance with ISO22301 or resilience programs aligned with ISO22316 within a corporate or regulated context.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Proven ability to identify and engage key stakeholders, fostering strong relationships to meet business goals.
  • Performance Evaluation: Experience in supporting inspections, audits, and evaluations of business continuity and resilience programs, focusing on continuous enhancement.
  • Best Practices Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of enterprise resilience and business continuity best practices.
  • Industry Familiarity: Knowledge of standards, frameworks, and best practices in Enterprise Resilience, Business Continuity, and Emergency Management, particularly within civil nuclear or Critical National Infrastructure (CNI) sectors.
  • Project Management Skills: Proficient in project management methodologies, with experience in supporting high-profile projects and initiatives.
  • Technical Documentation: Capable of drafting procedures, writing reports, and providing clear guidance to personnel.
  • Communication Proficiency: Skilled in delivering briefings and training sessions to staff and suppliers across all organizational levels.
