About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Teacher of Psychology to join our team at USP College. As a key member of our Humanities department, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to our students, inspiring them to achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of our students, ensuring they meet their academic goals and aspirations.
  • Assess and provide constructive feedback to students, helping them to identify areas for improvement and develop their critical thinking skills.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum plans, ensuring our students receive a well-rounded education that prepares them for success in their chosen careers.
  • Contribute to the development of our college's strategic plans, providing expertise and insights that inform our teaching and learning practices.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities, staying up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in education and psychology.
  • Provide pastoral support to students, helping them to navigate the challenges of academic life and achieve their personal and academic goals.
  • Contribute to the development of our college's policies and procedures, ensuring they are aligned with our values and mission.
Requirements
  • Hold a degree in Psychology or a related field, with a strong understanding of the subject matter and its applications.
  • Have a proven track record of delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences, with a focus on student outcomes and achievement.
  • Be able to communicate effectively with students, colleagues, and parents, using a range of strategies to engage and motivate learners.
  • Be able to work collaboratively as part of a team, contributing to the development of our college's strategic plans and initiatives.
  • Be able to adapt to changing circumstances, prioritizing tasks and managing workload to meet deadlines and deliver results.
