Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Practitioner Psychologist to join our Cardiac Rehabilitation Service. The successful candidate will work as part of a Multi-Disciplinary Team, providing psychological assessment, formulation, and intervention services to individuals living with cardiac issues.

Main Responsibilities
  • Provide direct and indirect psychological services to patients, including face-to-face and remote consultations, and group work.
  • Offer a psychological perspective to the Multi-Disciplinary Team, providing consultation and psychological training to increase the team's psychological mindedness.
  • Collate data on activity and PROMS/PREMS, and conduct service evaluation projects to inform service development.

Person Specification
  • Essential qualifications: Doctoral Training in DCOP/DClin Psy or Masters in Health/Forensic Psych, Psychology-related Degree 2:1 + (with GBR), HCPC registration/or due to register if trainee.
  • Desirable qualifications: Masters in Psychology-related subject/Additional relevant training.
  • Essential experience: Providing specialist psychological assessment to vulnerable groups of people, Providing specialist psychological intervention to vulnerable people.
  • Desirable experience: Health Psychology Experience.
