Job Description

The Quality Operations Manager will play a critical role in promoting quality and compliance across GSK's manufacturing and production operations. This position will oversee the implementation of quality-related systems, improvement procedures, and documentation to ensure products meet regulatory and cGMP requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team of operational quality staff to promote a culture of quality and improvement within Operations.
  • Review and certify finished products for release, ensuring compliance with laws and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement quality-related systems, improvement procedures, and documentation to ensure products meet regulatory and cGMP requirements.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring to team members, including recruitment, appraisals, training, and performance management.
  • Ensure resource management processes are in place to deliver batch release, investigation, and operations oversight and support to projects.
  • Support audits across the site, including overseeing L1 audit programs within the team.
  • Foster a continuous quality improvement culture within the OQ department and deputize for the Operational Quality Director as required.
About You:

You will be a Qualified Person (QP) with a recognized UK qualification. You will also have strong experience working in quality at a sophisticated manufacturing site, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
