Position Overview

The Dalston Practice is seeking a dedicated and passionate General Practitioner to join our supportive and collaborative team for a fixed term engagement.

Role Details

This role involves working between 2 to 4 sessions per week, with a structured workload of 16 patient consultations per session. We offer a competitive remuneration package, including medical indemnity coverage, NHS pension contributions, and generous leave entitlements.

Main Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be an integral part of the clinical team, providing high-quality healthcare and advice to our patients through various consultation methods, including face-to-face, telephone, video, and online platforms. Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting consultations across multiple formats
  • Referring patients to appropriate services as needed
  • Managing correspondence and clinical documentation
  • Reviewing and acting on test results
  • Prescribing medications in line with clinical guidelines
  • Maintaining accurate and comprehensive clinical records
  • Completing reports and medical assessments
  • Participating in QOF and local contract initiatives as required
  • No mandatory extended hours, though opportunities are available
