As a Pediatric Community Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to children in the community, working closely with families to develop personalized care plans, and partnering with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to children in the community, including administering medications, wound care, and other medical interventions as needed.
- Work closely with families to develop and implement personalized care plans that meet the unique needs of each child.
- Partner with other healthcare professionals, including doctors, therapists, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
- Ensure accurate and timely record-keeping and reporting, including documenting patient progress and outcomes.
- Manage your own caseload, demonstrating excellent time management and organizational skills.
Requirements:
- Competency with IV therapies and other medical interventions as needed.
- A Registered Nurse qualification with a pediatric specialty.
- Previous experience in a community nursing role, preferably in a pediatric setting.
- A valid driver's license.
