Job Opportunity

We are seeking a qualified Trading Standards Officer to join our team at Stirling Council.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the effective delivery of the Regulatory Service, delivering positive outcomes for our local communities.

As a fully qualified Trading Standards Officer, you will enforce consumer protection and fair trading legislation, providing advice and guidance to businesses and consumers.

You will also have the opportunity to share your experience and expertise with officers embarking on the trading standards qualification, supporting them through their qualification journey and beyond.

This role will be worked on a hybrid basis, with a combination of home working and office working.

Requirements

The successful candidate will be required to be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG) for children and adults.
