About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Contract Manager to join our team at the Gregory Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing leadership and operational control of our contracts, while building and maintaining strong relationships with our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contract Management: Develop and implement effective contract management strategies to ensure optimal performance and compliance with contractual obligations.
  • Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, acting as the primary point of contact for all contract-related matters.
  • Operations Management: Oversee the daily operations of our Specialist Transport operations, including flatbed trailer and bulker operations, to ensure optimal utilisation and efficient scheduling.
  • Financial Management: Consistently deliver profitability in line with group objectives, while ensuring value for money for our clients.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of drivers, logistics coordinators, and support staff, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure all operations comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations, particularly in high-risk areas such as oil and gas transportation.
Requirements
  • Experience: Proven experience in contract management, operations management, and team leadership within the UK transport sector, specifically within specialist transport operations.
  • Skills: Strong financial acumen, excellent leadership and team management skills, exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities, and excellent communication skills.
  • Qualifications: Strong understanding of UK transport regulations and compliance requirements.
