Role Overview
As a Lead Care Support Specialist at Methodist Homes, you will guide and motivate a dedicated team of care assistants to deliver exceptional care to our residents, helping them to enjoy their later years to the fullest. Your responsibilities will be diverse, including assisting residents with personal care and facilitating their participation in various activities that promote their health and well-being. Additionally, you will be responsible for administering medications and maintaining accurate documentation. Each day will present new challenges, allowing you to utilize your leadership and interpersonal skills to create a meaningful impact.

Candidate Profile
We are looking for a Lead Care Support Specialist who is deeply committed to caring for the elderly, possesses prior experience in care, and holds at least an NVQ level 2 or equivalent in health and social care, with a willingness to pursue level 3. You should have a proven track record in leading, coaching, and inspiring a team to provide high-quality care.
Essential qualities include a compassionate and nurturing demeanor, the ability to collaborate effectively within a team, and the initiative to work independently. Strong patience, communication, and listening skills are vital. You should also excel in maintaining accurate records, managing time efficiently, and prioritizing tasks. If you can lead by example, foster positive relationships, and motivate colleagues to deliver outstanding care, we would be eager to hear from you.
