The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN, RNMH, RNLD) to join our team as a Dementia Care Specialist. This is a unique opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of individuals living with dementia and their loved ones.

Your Responsibilities

  • Provide expert clinical care and support to patients diagnosed with dementia, working closely with their families and caregivers.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify individual needs and develop personalized care plans.
  • Educate patients, families, and staff on dementia-related topics, promoting understanding and best practices.
  • Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, social workers, and therapists, to ensure holistic patient care.
  • Advocate for patients' rights and well-being, ensuring their voices are heard and respected.

Your Skills and Experience

  • Registered Nurse with a valid license to practice in the UK.
  • Proven experience in dementia care, preferably within a primary care setting.
  • Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and advocacy skills.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying abreast of best practices in dementia care.
