About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Customer Team Leader to join our team at The Co-operative Group. As a Customer Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading the store team, coaching and supervising our Customer Team Members, and delivering great customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the store team and ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Coach and supervise Customer Team Members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide excellent customer service.
  • Develop and implement plans to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Manage stock levels and ensure that the store is always fully stocked and well-presented.
  • Work closely with the Store Manager to achieve sales targets and improve store performance.
  • Build relationships with customers and colleagues to create a positive and inclusive store environment.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends.
  • Knowledge of customer service principles and practices.
