We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Student Marketing and Recruitment Assistant to join our team at The University of Manchester. As a key member of our International Office, you will play a vital role in supporting our overseas recruitment activities and the conversion of international students.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support for the core activities of the International Recruitment team, including booking and payment of overseas events.
  • Liaise closely with overseas recruitment agents, supporting them to complete application and registration processes accurately.
  • Deal with a wide range of enquiries from key stakeholders, including prospective students and their influencers, and provide high levels of customer focus.
  • Support the team in achieving our recruitment targets and contribute to the development of effective recruitment strategies.

Requirements

  • Experience of dealing with a high volume of enquiries on diverse topics, signposting to sources of advice and guidance with high levels of customer focus.
  • Experience of working in a process driven, team environment, with a proven ability to effectively support colleagues.
  • Outstanding communication skills, demonstrating an ability to deal with a wide range of people with cross-cultural awareness.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize in a busy work environment which frequently involves strict deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail, including numeracy and IT skills.
