The Faculty of Humanities at Manchester is delighted to present an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and innovative marketing and recruitment professional to join our team as a Marketing and Recruitment Officer.

In this role, you will be responsible for implementing the marketing and recruitment strategies for undergraduate and postgraduate taught (PGT) programmes within the Faculty of Humanities. Your primary focus will be to develop and execute various student marketing and recruitment projects, events, and initiatives in alignment with the Faculty's overall strategy.

Acting as a business partner, you will build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including Programme Directors, School Heads, key suppliers, and Admissions Officers.

You will actively participate in establishing a community of practice for undergraduate and PGT student marketing and recruitment across both the Faculty and the central Division of Communications and Marketing teams.

Reporting to the Faculty Marketing and Recruitment Manager, you will be an integral part of the Student Marketing and Recruitment Team, collaborating closely with other members of the team.

**About You**:
Confidence in working with and presenting to senior stakeholders is crucial for this role.

Your ability to cultivate positive working relationships with academic colleagues from various departments within the Faculty, Schools, and Central Team will be essential.

You will play a pivotal role in driving the recruitment of high-quality students through your support in executing marketing and recruitment activities.

Experience in nurturing high-quality leads from a diverse international audience will be highly valued.

We are looking for an innovative thinker, deeply committed to professional and team development.

Part of your responsibilities will include crafting personas, defining unique selling propositions (USPs), and value propositions for existing and new products.

You will be expected to analyse marketing performance metrics, using data-driven insights to optimize campaigns and improve the return on investment (ROI).

Collaboration with colleagues across Professional Services will be essential to ensure a cohesive "one-university" approach to all our endeavours.

This role may involve occasional overseas travel based on business needs.

While not mandatory, prior experience in higher education marketing and recruitment, both domestically and internationally, would be beneficial.

Higher education marketing and recruitment experience, though not essential, would be advantageous.
