We are Seaway7, a leading provider of offshore wind solutions, seeking a highly skilled Business Improvement Manager to join our team in Aberdeen.

Job Summary:

The Business Improvement Manager will be responsible for driving cross-functional and company-wide process, system, and ways of working improvement initiatives to support strategic and operational goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement annual plans for campaigns, compliance, and improvement initiatives.
  • Manage and coordinate Business Improvement initiatives and activities within Seaway7, fostering effective working relationships with internal functions.
  • Analyze trend data on Seaway7's performance, report outcomes, and act as a catalyst for incremental change in business performance.
  • Act as an ambassador for lessons learned communication and knowledge sharing.
  • Drive delivery of management review process across the business and communicate results.
  • Be the focal point externally and internally for company ISO certification.
  • Implement ISO certification audit programme across the business.
  • Develop audit programme and audit focus areas in collaboration with business unit operations teams and internal functions.
  • Support delivery of Seaway7 audit programme.
  • Business Management System (BMS) governance, including development and improvement of Seaway7 content.
  • Provide support to all functions for BMS reviews and content revision.
  • Be the focal point with Subsea7 group for management system and business tools updates, including change impact assessment and implementation plan for Seaway7.
  • Provide familiarisation and training on company performance delivery tools and management system.
  • Write and develop Seaway7 specific procedures in collaboration with subject matter experts and key stakeholders.
  • Technical editing and review of existing functional procedures.
  • Ensure HSSEQ SharePoint site is maintained with up-to-date information.
  • Provide updates to virtual library for country-specific Legislation and guidance.
  • Maintenance of Seaway7 Interested Parties / Risk and Opportunity register.
  • Support independent investigation, root cause analysis, and incident case management activities across the business.
  • Support Seaway 7 tendering activities and preparation of tender Quality deliverables.
Requirements:
  • Experienced Management Systems and Business Improvement Professional.
  • Degree-level qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Heavy Industry Projects and Operations Quality experience is desirable.
  • Qualified and experienced lead auditor.
  • Extensive knowledge of ISO Quality and HSE Standards.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the Quality discipline within heavy industry - Renewables / Oil and Gas Sector knowledge is desirable.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, IT literacy, and report writing skills.
  • Previous experience in supervision and mentoring of personnel within a team structure is desirable.
  • Capable of presentation and discussion at Senior Management Level.
  • Proven Incident Management and Investigation experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to resolve issues, with a methodical and organized method of operation.
