Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Paediatric Radiologist to join our General Radiology Department at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients, working closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver excellent patient care.

Main Responsibilities
  • Reporting and interpreting imaging studies, including plain radiography, ultrasound, MRI, and CT scans
  • Providing expert advice and guidance to clinicians and other healthcare professionals
  • Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings and contributing to the development of treatment plans
  • Supervising and mentoring junior radiologists and radiographers
  • Engaging in research and quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes
Requirements
  • Full GMC registration and specialist registration in Radiology
  • MBBS or equivalent qualification
  • Accredited Fellowship of The Royal College of Radiologists or equivalent
  • At least 1 year of subspecialty training in paediatric radiology
