About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate individual to join our Older Adult Community Mental Health Team as a Support Time Recovery Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of older adults experiencing mental health disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement specific areas of the care plan designed by senior clinicians, either in patients' homes or clinic settings.
  • Promote a therapeutic relationship with agreed boundaries and time scales, providing regular support to patients.
  • Support patients with daily living and normalization of their lives.
  • Assist clients in completing standardized assessments in line with the service's assessment protocol.
  • Join clinicians to co-assess routine and urgent referrals.
  • Develop educational tools for clients and their families, and promotional material for the service's operation.
  • Undertake specific administrative duties as required, including documentation and uploading documents onto electronic recording systems.
Person Specification

We are looking for an individual with the following qualifications and experience:

  • Maths and English GCSE.
  • Experience of working in a care setting and/or education/social care setting.
  • Some experience and/or knowledge of mental health.
