Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced support worker to assist a young mother with daily tasks and activities in her home in Kingston Park, Newcastle Upon Tyne.

Key Responsibilities

  • Accompany the young mother and her family on outings to local parks, nature reserves, and shopping trips.
  • Assist with domestic tasks such as bed changing, laundry, and light cleaning duties.
  • Support the young mother in the kitchen to prepare meals and bake.
  • Encourage the young mother to engage in hobbies such as reading and writing.

Requirements

  • Experience working with families and individuals with disabilities.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Reliable and flexible.

Working Conditions

This is a busy household with 3 young children, so experience of working in a similar environment would be advantageous.

A car driver would be preferred but is not essential.
