We are seeking an experienced Economic Adviser to join our Macroeconomics Coordination and Strategy team at HM Treasury.
The successful candidate will contribute to the assessment of the UK economy and near-term outlook, bringing together analysis across the group to tell a clear and accurate story.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the UK economy and its key drivers.
- Contribute to the development of economic analysis and advice for Ministers and other stakeholders.
- Work closely with other teams across the Economics Group and the Treasury to ensure a coordinated approach to economic analysis and advice.
- Present economic updates to senior officials and Ministers, and represent the Treasury in external fora.
- Lead on the presentation of the government's economic narrative in external communications.

The Macroeconomics Coordination and Strategy team is a dynamic and collaborative team that works closely with other teams across the Treasury to provide analysis, advice, and briefing to Ministers on economic developments.
