Job Title: Application Support Analyst

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Application Support Analyst to join our team at Jas Gujral. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing day-to-day operational support for our application portfolio, ensuring the smooth operation of our systems and applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide 2nd and 3rd line support for the application portfolio
  • Monitor application systems, identifying performance trends and taking action to prevent problems
  • Own application/system documentation and the data repository that holds that information
  • Provide technical support to the application architect and project services as required
  • Provide test support for new and enhanced systems/applications
  • Own the Configuration Management process
  • Responsible for scheduled maintenance and capacity planning
  • Responsible for the development and maintenance of the data warehouse
  • Run reports and conduct analysis in-line with Business/Management requirements
  • Responsible for the provision of performance information

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working in a 2nd/3rd line support role
  • Experience of working with ITIL processes within an organization, in particular, incident, request, change, and problem management
  • Experience managing assets, both hardware and software
