About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Communities Manager to join our team at emh group. As a key member of our Communities Team, you will be responsible for leading a team of professionals to provide a comprehensive housing and estate management service, making a positive contribution to our communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of 4 Housing Officers, a Tenancy Solutions Caseworker, Choice Based Lettings Officer, Choice Based Lettings Assistant, Lettings Negotiator, and a Caretaker to deliver excellent customer service and housing solutions.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to increase our presence in the communities we serve, working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on housing law, ASB best practice management, and neighborhood and community agenda.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and partners to achieve positive outcomes and improve services.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of services, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in strategic and operational housing law, ASB best practice management, and neighborhood and community agenda.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers, colleagues, and partners.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, sharing knowledge and expertise to achieve common goals.
  • Passion for providing excellent customer service and making a positive contribution to the communities we serve.
