Job Summary

Oxalis Logistics UK Limited is seeking a skilled Resource Manager to join our team. As a Regional Resource Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal allocation of driver and vehicle resources across our regional terminals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of regional resource requirements, including short-term, medium-term, and long-term needs.
  • Collaborate with planners on a daily basis to flex resources and maximize efficiency while ensuring high levels of customer service.
  • Authorize driver holiday and absence requests, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  • Develop and implement strategies to address driver resource shortfalls, including local overtime, cross-contracting, and agency resource booking.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with planners, drivers, and clients to ensure seamless resource provision.
  • Act as Duty Manager on a rotational basis, responsible for managing operational issues, resolving resource shortfalls, and addressing incidents.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in resource management or relevant planning roles.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with drivers and other stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with ATOSS beneficial but not essential.
  • Valid UK driving license and ability to commute to work.
