About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Adult Care Assistant/Support Worker to join our team at Randstad. As a key member of our care team, you will provide high-quality support to adults with complex needs, enabling them to live independently and maximize their opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide person-centered care to adults with autism, dementia, and learning disabilities
  • Support service users with daily routines, personal care, and seizure management
  • Work effectively with the care team, family members, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless care delivery
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with service users, promoting their emotional well-being and dignity
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • Previous experience working with adults with complex needs
  • Experience in, or willingness to undertake training in PEG feeding, epilepsy, and moving and handling
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Registration under the PVG scheme
  • Full driving license
  • SVQ level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent (desirable)
