Outreach Support Specialist for Enhanced Provision

Position Overview

The role involves providing guidance and outreach assistance to mainstream primary educational institutions, particularly focusing on the initial stages, to address the additional support requirements of students within their environments. The aim is to enhance the capacity of mainstream schools to accommodate a diverse range of additional support needs.

This position is associated with a cluster of schools and requires flexibility in working across the cluster to meet operational and service demands.

The successful candidate will be expected to uphold a commitment to delivering high-quality services through ongoing improvement efforts that benefit both the service and the organization.

This role is classified as regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the relevant legislation. The preferred candidate will need to participate in the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. If the individual has spent a continuous period of three months or more outside the UK in the last five years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be necessary. The provision of this check is mandatory. A confirmed job offer and commencement in the role will be contingent upon the satisfactory outcome of these pre-employment checks.

It is essential for the post holder to obtain SSSC registration within three months of starting employment.

This position requires a minimum of two references, one of which must be from the current or most recent employer.
