About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality and Risk Management Specialist to join our team at WellGear Ltd. As a key member of our operational business structure, you will play a vital role in ensuring the continued implementation of our Quality, Health, Safety, and Environmental program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice and support to Line Managers and Supervisors on all aspects of safety management, including risk assessments and compliance with relevant legislation.
  • Assist in the investigation, recording, and reporting of incidents to identify causes and provide recommendations for prevention.
  • Manage the MOC process and non-conformance occurrences, ensuring all outcomes and learnings are captured within our ERP system.
  • Develop and implement new standards and techniques to provide direction and guidance to employees, ensuring compliance with changing regulations and industry best practices.
  • Liaise with clients to address Health, Safety, and Environmental related questions or concerns.
  • Prepare company HSE bulletins and ensure relevant industry learnings are incorporated and communicated.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills, with proven leadership quality.
  • Computer literate with Microsoft Office, Word, Excel.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills within a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • A pragmatic approach to problem-solving and a vision to implement changes that will affect the organization in a positive way.
  • NCRQ Certificate in Applied Health and Safety or NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety.
  • 5+ years' experience in the upstream Oil and Gas Industry, with a background in Well Intervention activities.
