Assistant Night Operations Manager

At Rethink, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Night Manager to join our team. As a key member of our night operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of our hotel operations during the night shift.
Main Responsibilities:
- Supervise and manage the night team, ensuring excellent communication and collaboration between day and night shifts.
- Ensure the safe-keeping and administration of the main DM safe and all monies during the night.
- Train and develop the night staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they are equipped to handle guest expectations and concerns.
- Manage hotel availability to maximize revenue opportunities and ensure efficient use of resources.
- Deliver excellent customer service, responding to guest queries and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Manage all operating systems required during the night hours, including Opera, CRS, Micros, and Techlive.
- Ensure compliance with all credit and financial procedures, as well as adherence to all safety and security protocols.
- Organize departmental rotas and staff holiday requests, ensuring seamless coverage and minimizing disruptions.
- Ensure the attendance of all night staff to all statutory training, promoting a culture of continuous learning and development.
- Be a smart, personable, and professional ambassador for Rethink, embodying our values and standards at all times.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Night Manager in a 4-star hotel.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
- Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and guests.
