BIM Specialist

Interior Construction Projects
Competitive salary ranging from £35,000 to £40,000 per annum based on qualifications and experience.

Annual leave entitlement of 20 days, in addition to 8 UK public holidays, plus 3 days off during the festive season.

Upon successful completion of the probationary period, employees are also eligible for an extra day of leave to be taken around their birthday each year, and after 5 years of service, they qualify for an additional 5 days of leave annually.

The BIM Specialist Role

We are currently seeking a BIM Specialist to join our skilled team, working on a variety of projects within the commercial building sector.

A comprehensive job description is available, but the primary responsibilities of the BIM Specialist include:

- Utilizing Revit for the creation of 3D models for the company's products.
- Maintaining and developing precise 3D models for use by architects and designers.

- Producing accurate scheme models for on-site projects to facilitate clash detection by the contractor/BIM coordinator, and embedding the necessary data in the models for client handover.

- Supporting the delivery and maintenance of BIM services across the organization.
- Providing BIM/Revit training to technical personnel.
The Ideal BIM Specialist

The successful candidate will possess:

- Strong proficiency in Revit and other Autodesk design software such as AutoCAD, Navisworks, and Recap.
- Experience in a design capacity within an architectural or commercial construction setting is advantageous.
- Familiarity with working with architectural plans and drawings, as well as manufacturing details and schedules.
- Understanding of timelines and RIBA stages in the production information delivery.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a knack for developing practical solutions.
- Capability to translate verbal and written information into accurate 3D models with meticulous attention to detail.

Additional Qualifications Include:
- A recognized design qualification at HNC/BSc level
- Minimum of 3 years of Revit experience
- Advanced IT skills
- Experience working in a BIM environment
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Familiarity with online Common Data Environments (CDEs)
- A full UK driving license is beneficial.
