We are seeking an experienced Medical Secretary to join our busy General Surgery team at East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust. As a Medical Secretary, you will provide an efficient administrative service to our team, ensuring patient care is at the forefront of our service.
Main Responsibilities
The successful applicant will be responsible for managing and monitoring patients through their treatment pathways, ensuring compliance to cancer pathways and waiting time standards. You will work within a team of medical secretaries to provide a comprehensive administrative, clerical and audiotyping service to the clinical and managerial teams.
Key Skills and Qualities
We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, a high level of attention to detail and accuracy, and an understanding of patient confidentiality. You must be able to work effectively in a team environment and possess a high standard of organisational skills.
