Technical Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Project Manager to lead the delivery of strategic technology programmes for a global financial institution. As a key member of our technology function, you will be responsible for managing complexity, overseeing multiple work streams, and ensuring the successful landing of change across a complex business and technology landscape.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop business cases from inception to execution, liaising with key stakeholders to ensure buy-in and understanding of impacts.
  • Measure and report progress, ensuring alignment with governance processes, and communicate with stakeholders to gain approvals.
  • Manage project cost, quality, and timelines, identify dependencies across functions, and ensure projects close satisfactorily within agreed governance.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in software project delivery.
  • Strong skills in project risk management and staff leadership.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders.
  • Competence in managing project dependencies and delivering high-quality outcomes within set timeframes.
  • Experience in both Agile and Waterfall project delivery.
  • Knowledge of financial services, particularly in payments, is highly desirable.
